What does the business rate include?

A special price based on the pages you translate each month and a single monthly invoice. Every translation is signed and sealed by a sworn translator registered with MIRE, just like our individual clients' translations, and you receive it as a PDF at no cost and on paper when the procedure requires it. Our team prepares the rate with you.

    We start from our public rates and adjust them to the pages you translate each month. You get the rate in writing before your first order.

    All orders in a month go on a single invoice, with 7% ITBMS. Payment terms are agreed with our team.

    A direct line to the Lingo team, by WhatsApp or email, to send documents, request timelines and follow up on each order.

Which companies is it for?

For any company that regularly translates official documents: law firms, multinationals under the SEM regime, HR departments, banks, shipping companies and importers. Every document is priced the same way, per word: there is no surcharge by document type, only by language.

How much does it cost?

We start from our public rates: a base rate for the first page, up to 250 words, and the rest of the document per word, with no rounding up to full pages. On top of that, the business rate applies a special price based on your monthly volume. The 7% ITBMS tax is added to the total.

Public rates, Standard delivery. Example: a 1,000-word contract costs $85.60 from English into Spanish and $107.00 from German into Spanish, 7% ITBMS included; the business rate starts from there.

How does it work?

  4. 4A sworn public translator reviews, signs and seals each translation; you receive it as a PDF and, if the procedure requires it, on paper.
  5. 5At the end of the month you receive a single invoice with all of that month's orders.

How do I request the business rate?

Fill in the form with the documents you translate and roughly how many pages a month. We reply during business hours, on WhatsApp or by email, whichever you prefer, to look at a sample of your documents and send you the rate in writing. You can also write to us directly at hola@lingo.com.pa.

Business FAQ

Are the translations legally valid in Panama?
Yes. Every translation is signed and sealed by a sworn public translator (Traductor Público Autorizado), certified under Executive Decree 975 of 2017 and Resolution 2448 of 2018 and registered with Panama's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIRE). It is the official translation required by the National Immigration Service, the Public Registry, universities and banks. The business rate changes the price and billing, not the type of translation.
How do you invoice companies?
With the business rate, all orders placed during the month go on a single invoice, with Panama's 7% ITBMS tax. Payment terms are agreed with our team before the first order. If you only need a one-off translation, you can get a quote online or on WhatsApp and pay with Yappy right away, without opening a business account.
How do you keep our documents confidential?
We handle personal data under Panama's Law 81 of 2019 on personal data protection. Documents are stored encrypted, only the Lingo team and the translator assigned to each order can see them, and they are deleted automatically after 60 days. We never put Lingo's branding on the translation: the page carries only the translator's signature and seal.
How fast do you deliver?
Standard delivery takes up to 3 business days and Express 1 business day, for documents of up to 10 pages. Same-day delivery depends on paying before 11:00 a.m. and a translator being available. For longer documents or several at once, we confirm the timeline with your quote, based on page count and language.
Which languages do you translate?
We translate between Spanish and English and between Spanish and German, in both directions: for example, a contract from a German parent company into Spanish for use in Panama, or your company's financial statements into English for a bank abroad. Portuguese, French, Italian and Mandarin are coming soon.
Can you deliver the original to our office?
Yes. The PDF of the signed and sealed translation is always included, by WhatsApp or email. If the procedure requires the paper original, we deliver it to your office in Panama City: free when the order adds up to 6 pages or more, and $3 otherwise. Outside the city, we confirm the shipping cost before charging it.
