Do you need an apostille before or after the translation?

A foreign judgment is normally apostilled in the country whose court issued it, then translated in Panama so the apostille appears inside the translation. The recognition (exequatur) is handled by your lawyer before Panama's Supreme Court of Justice. Immigration asked for a court judgment. Which ones do you translate?

We translate divorce, custody and adoption judgments, criminal court rulings and other resolutions that Panama's National Immigration Service or a consulate may request as part of a file. Each one is translated in full and signed by a TPA registered with MIRE under Executive Decree 975 of 2017. Your immigration attorney confirms which judgments your file actually needs.

Do you handle court documents confidentially?

Yes. We follow Panama's Law 81 of 2019: AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS in transit and automatic deletion 60 days after delivery. Only the assigned TPA accesses the judgment, under a confidentiality and data processing agreement.
