Certified CV or résumé translation in Panama
Your CV or résumé is translated in Panama by a Certified Public Translator (TPA) registered with MIRE under Executive Decree 975 of 2017, and it is signed and sealed when the process asks for a certified translation. It is priced by word, starting at $20, and arrives in up to 3 business days. It is common for job applications, work visas and professional recognition, in English, German or Spanish.
What do you need your CV or résumé translated for?
Jobs abroad or in Panama
Applying for a position calls for your CV in the employer's language, clear and well structured, so your experience reads the way you intended.
Work visas and permits
Visa and work permit processes in which your CV is filed as part of the application. When the file requires it, the translation is signed and sealed.
Professional recognition
Proving your track record before associations or bodies that evaluate your experience to recognize your profession, together with your translated degree.
How much does it cost?
A CV is priced by word: $20 covers the first 250-word page and each additional word adds $0.08, with no rounding up to full pages. Panama's 7% ITBMS tax is added on top. A one-page CV comes to $21.40 with tax, and two- or three-page profiles of 500 to 750 words land between $42.80 and $64.20. For German ↔ Spanish, the page costs $25 and each additional word $0.10.
How long does it take?
Standard delivery takes up to 3 business days. Express delivers in 1 business day (+50%), and Same-day (+100%) applies only when you pay before 11:00 a.m. and a translator is available. These timelines apply to documents of up to 10 pages (2,500 words); for longer documents we prepare a special volume price and confirm the timeline on WhatsApp. You see the exact timeline in your quote before paying.
How does it work?
- 1Upload your document in the online quote or send it on WhatsApp.
- 2Get your exact quote in under 60 seconds; if your document is longer than 10 pages, we prepare a special volume price.
- 3Pay with Yappy from your app; confirmation is instant.
- 4A Certified Public Translator (TPA) registered with MIRE translates, signs and seals your document.
- 5Receive the signed and sealed PDF by WhatsApp or email at no cost, plus the printed original at your door: free in Panama City when your order adds up to 6 pages or more (one page = 250 words); $3 for 1 to 5 pages.
Do you need an apostille before or after the translation?
A CV is a personal document and does not need an apostille; a translation by a TPA registered with MIRE, under Executive Decree 975 of 2017, is enough when the process asks for a certified translation. If you file it with diplomas or certificates, those may need an apostille in the issuing country before translation. That step is done by the issuing authority or your lawyer, never by Lingo, and we tell you in your quote what applies.
