Do you need an apostille before or after the translation?

Medical records are usually submitted with the certified translation alone, signed and sealed by a TPA under Executive Decree 975 of 2017. Some insurers or institutions also ask for the original to be authenticated, and official use abroad might require an apostille. If it applies, the apostille goes on the original in the issuing country first, then comes the translation. Lingo does not authenticate or apostille documents; the issuing institution, a notary or a lawyer does.
